Connect Yorkshire - The Connect concept originated in 1985 at the University of, California, San Diego. Sister organisations are now active across the USA and in Europe.

Connect Yorkshire is sponsored by many of the leading professional firms in the region and aims to support the region's technology businesses in securing the finance required to meet ambitious growth plans. It operates through an ongoing provision of seminars, briefings, workshops, an annual Investment Conference and other events designed to develop the knowledge, expertise and resources required to support and facilitate the creation and growth of technology-based companies.
