SME Support Network has funding that enables us to offer free technical assistance to small and medium sized companies in Objective 2 areas of Huddersfield. We have a wide range of expertise available and can provide an expert to work for 5 DAYS FREE OF CHARGE to produce a solution to one of your problems.

Expertise available includes:
General Engineering & Manufacturing expertise, Plant Layout, Lean Manufacture, Quality Systems, Production Planning and Control, Finite Element Analysis, Electronics and Control Systems, Advanced Surface Metrology, Materials, Fluid Dynamics, Supply Chain Management, CE Marketing and IPR, Precision Measurement facilities, 3D CAD and Product Design, Grant Applications, Product Development.

For those companies not in the Huddersfield area we can offer support through the Regional Centre for Manufacturing Excellence supported by the DTI and the Manufacturing Advisory Service. This gives us the ability to carry out free diagnostic checks and one day research projects for companies as well as access to other expertise and 50% funding for projects. More funding for specific company training will become available over the next few months.
